Their are lots of ways that a person can do in exercise that will help them jump higher or increase their vertical. Their is such a large number, in fact you can say that almost any exercise that you perform in one way, shape or form, helps you to slowly increase your vertical. The possibilities are endless when you decide what you want to add on your workouts so that you can increase your vertical and accomplish your goals of what you always wanted to do. Their are lots and lots of jump programs out their and they all have the same thing in common. Which is to show you or tell you what you need to do to increase your vertical.
When you buy a vertical jump program then you can almost guarantee that you will need to do one form of exercise, actually you will have to do one form of exercise. It is impossible for a person to sell a vertical jump program if they are not going to sell you what workouts you need to do and what weight training workouts you need to do. Well I am here to help you to increase your vertical and finally start doing better in sports.
What every good vertical jump program has to have is weight training and plyometrics. We will cover the plyometrics part here. If you do not know what plymotrics are then you will find out right now because I will tell you. Plyometrics are just basically jumping exercises that you do and they help your legs become more explosive and it is better then weight training for being explosive but you still need to lift iron. I will give you a list of jumping exercises that you can do and do not do them every day only do them three times a week.
When you are going to do an exercise routine then you must stretch because if you do not then you will get injured easily and that is why it is important to stretch. Jumping rope is a plyometric exercise, you just basically jump rope but you need to explode more with every jump. This will help you to make your feet explosive. You can also do tuck jumps, these are the exercises that many fast runners do and what they basically do is jump up in the air and tuck their knees to their chest. This helps to increase explositivity and reflex. Another exercise you can do is standing calf raises, you just basically do some calf raises but instead of staying on the ground, you jump with ever calf raise motion that you take.
